Military & Family Readiness Center

Assists Total Force Airmen, Army, Navy, Marine, Guard and Reservists, DoD Civilians, Retirees and their families on a wide range of work and family issues.

What We Do

The Military & Family Readiness Center provides valuable information about military life, ongoing educational assistance, community services, and offers support services for Airmen and their families. Services are provided through in-depth one-on-one meetings with our customers, as well as through various classes and support events. We pride ourselves on being “The Answer People”, so we are happy to help find answers to any questions you may have.​

Implements strategies to deploy mission-ready Airmen world wide while supporting their families globally, the “heartbeat” of the M&FRC.

Casualty & Survivor Benefit Plan

Compassionate notification and assistance during bereavement.

Also advises personnel retiring on Survivor Benefit Program elections.

Newcomer's

The mission of the 71st Flying Training Wing is to deliver world-class U.S. pilots, develop resilient Airmen and families, deploy ready Airmen and demonstrate our “Vance Proud” culture. Vance is responsible for training Air Force student pilots for worldwide deployment and Aerospace Expeditionary Force support. The wing reports to Air Education and Training Command

Provide support to enhance the quality of the life of special needs family members for all DoD IDcardholders to include retirees, civilians and families from other military branches.

Provide financial education, information and consultation on all matter concerning finances.

Transition Assistance Program (TAP)

Honoring those who have served and their families providing tools, guidance and education to promote a healthy reintegration to the civilian life.
