1. Review Vance Welcome Packet for new students.

2. Once you have your PCS Orders:

Contact the Duty Officer at 580‐213‐6396, during duty hours, with your name, email, and Report No Later Than Date (RNLTD) on your orders. Normal duty hours are Monday – Wednesday & Friday: 0800-1530 (CST) and Thursday: 0800–1300 (CST).

3. Review the Vance Military Installation Guide

MilitaryINSTALLATIONS helps you learn about your duty station, providing essential information about installation overviews, check-in procedures and the local community. A collective effort between the military service branches, this tool connects you to local programs, services and resources. Search by installation, state resources or specific programs and services to find what you need.

7. Sign up for the Vance Virtual Pre-Arrival Orientation.

8. Contact the Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) if you have remaining questions or concerns by calling 580-213-6330. 

9. Upon arrival to Vance AFB, the 71 STUS/CSS will register you to attend the Vance Welcome Information Fair. This event usually takes place the second Tuesday of every month at 0930 CST in the Armed Forces Reserve Center, Bldg. 800. Click here for more information!
